Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Padukone has had a childhood in Copenhagen as well as Bangalore. In her teens, she played badminton in National level competitions. She later resigned her professional career to pursue a career as a model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean background, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone is a village located within the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international champion in badminton who is now retired. The mother of the child is a travel agent.
