Summer Glau is an American actress famous for appearing in the role of River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly and as Cameron in the show Terminator. In the series, she played Sarah Connor Chronicles. She has also guest-starred in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. In addition to performing in films such as Serenity, Knights of Badassdom and Knights of Badassdom, the actress has also appeared in TV films as well as short-films like Mammoth the Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon aiding in the celebrations of the holidays Dead End Inside the Box and many more. Glau has received numerous prizes and distinctions. Glau was featured twice in the 100 Sexiest Women of the World by FHM as well as once being ranked on the Wizard magazine's list of Sexiest Women of TV. The American beauty was also given a place in The Maxim's Hot 100 list. Regarding her performance awards, Glau has won SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was born the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her music career at the age of eight years old in a band that was that was formed by the late Abraham Quintanilla. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and sister Suzette played drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino band was a regular at venues, wedding fairs and dining establishments with her elder siblings. Selena didn't have a great childhood as the band required an extensive amount of time. Their father Abraham was determined to inspire them and they became passionate musicians. Abraham senior was also a member of Los Dinos' original band also played guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos began to be formed in the year 1981. The band was the family business and the main source of income for the Quintanilla family. Quintanilla's parents persevered throughout the first years of financial difficulties. The perseverance paid back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularly in the western states. Selena received the award for Female singer and Performer in the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos continued to win prizes of Tejano music awards, and they gained notoriety and fame. They appeared on numerous Spanish programming on television like El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
